At the beginning you are offered a choice of four fractions. I should add that races have no influence on anything.
Amarr: A very religious faction that encourages slavery. But they have some of the most beautiful and coolest ships in the game.
Gallente: a socialist state that promotes emigration. They have some of the most prominent leaders, scientists and businessmen in modern history.
Caldari: A powerful corporate dictatorship. They are ruthless and effective both behind closed doors and on the battlefield.
Minmatar: They have some of the most powerful ships for PvP.
In EVE Echoes, you won’t be able to create your own character completely. There is an upgrade button where you can change the look, but that’s all.
Eve Echoes Game Engine
As soon as you select a character’s face, you need to enter a name on the next page. Underneath it will be the details of the pedigree that you have chosen. This is like choosing a race within a faction and your identification number, which the developers use to identify you as a player.
When you right-click, you will see a pop-up window on the left side.
- Nearby: Shows everything around you.
- Heavenly Body: Shows you all the planets and the Sun of the system you are in.
- The station shows all the stations of the system you are in.
- Stargate: This shows all the Stargate stations in your system. You use them to move to a system whose name is right above the distance.
- Signal: These are the points in the system you are in that you can examine. These can be signals from NPC ships or asteroid belts, where you will be the first to extract resources.
A small number called a signal indicates its level from 1 to 10. 1 – The lightest NPC ships and the poorest yielding asteroid fields. 10 – Powerful NPC ships and abundant asteroid fields with the rarest resources.

Click on one of the stations you would like to go to. A new window opens where you can select “Doc”, after which your ship will automatically jump to warp and dock at the specified station.
The second way is to open the map, which is marked with a constellation icon to the right of your avatar. Here you can either manually find the system you want to access or use the search button in the lower-left corner.
Types of ships
There are 6 types of ships in the game, and each of them has its own specialization, which will focus mainly on one thing, but will have different features.
Frigate: Usually small ships that focus on damage and have many other functions, but are not designed to fight on the front line. They are fragile, and they also have a small cargo bay.
Destroyer: Larger vessels than the Frigate; rather fast and damaging. They have decent stamina against the Frigate, but will be quite weak against the Cruisers and Battleships.
Cruiser: Good damage and the ability to add more modules.
Combat cruiser: is something in between the Battlecruiser and Battleship; in fact, it is a balanced battleship. They deal more damage and have better protection than the Battlestar, but Combat Cruisers are not as mobile.
Industrial ship: designed to carry cargo. They are quite large, slow and can not participate in battles, because their main purpose – to accommodate as many goods as possible.
Battleships: slower than other ships, but they are very durable. They also have good firepower.
In my opinion, you should buy a Battle Cruiser, Battleship or Battleship – depending on the amount available and your needs.
Resource extraction menu
This option allows you to constantly extract resources from different planets: it can be found in the Menu -> Planetary production. There you can send ships for mining.
To extract resources, you can install special mining lasers on any ship, but I suggest you use the Ventura frigate (Shop -> Ship -> Industrial ship -> Scroll down until you find the Ventura frigate in the Expeditionary frigate section), because it has quite a spacious hold.
