I need to build some simple 64-bit Windows apps on Windows 7 x86_64. Is this possible to do without having to build a compiler? I already have Eclipse running, but MinGW apparently does not yet officially support 64-bit compilation, and Eclipse tells me that Cygwin is not supported. Can someone please give me the steps needed to install whatever I need to build a 64-bit app, if it is possible?
Thank You
Larry

You can use MinGW-w64 and a recent CDT 6.1/7.0 nightly build here. You don't need to build MinGW-w64 youself, you can get it from the automated builds folder.

I was using CygWin for Win 7 64 bit and it works more or less ok, except some annoying warnings like 'CygWin GCC is not supported' and no output within a console.
Does anyone have any idea if it is not really supported yet for win 7_64 and CygWin?
