Standard license is unlimited in time. Annual subscription means your license is limited for 1 year. You can renew your subscription and continue using the product.

After your Acronis True Image subscription expires, all product functionality will be blocked until further subscription renewal, however, the backed up data is still accessible:

  • For 5 days after subscription expires you can continue making backups, including backups to Acronis Cloud storage (for Advanced and Premium subscriptions)
  • During 30 days after subscription expires you can restore data from Cloud Storage. Thirty days after subscription expiration the data in Acronis Cloud storage is destroyed.
  • Local backups remain available for restore.

Mobile device is a device running iOS or Android. A tablet running Windows operating system is considered a computer.

Amazon Photos: Amazon Photos offers unlimited, full-resolution photo storage, plus 5 GB video storage for Prime members. All other customers get 5 GB photo and video storage.

Acronis True Image licensing applies to the number of PC/Mac machines you use the software on. Backup sources and destinations, as well as amount of backup plans, backup data, versions of backups are not limited by the license: for each protected machine you can create as many backup plans as you need, of any supported backup type. The only exception is Acronis Cloud destination: the used storage space in Acronis Cloud should be within the storage quota defined by the license.

Acronis True Image Advanced and Premium subscriptions include Acronis Cloud storage. By purchasing Acronis True Image Advanced subscription, you get 500GB Acronis Cloud storage quota. Acronis True Image Premium subscription has 1TB, 2TB, 3TB, 4TB, 5TB quotas. Having Acronis Cloud storage unlocks additional features like storing your backups and archived data in Acronis Cloud and accessing and sharing this data from anywhere anytime.

For Premium edition, you can increase Acronis Cloud subscription to one of the above quotas.

The quota is shared among all the machines registered in the account.

The license is based on the purchased subscription term for the specified number of machines (physical or virtual), with no restrictions on the number of mobile devices. Acronis True Image Advanced or Premium license comes with a limited amount of Acronis Cloud storage; additional Acronis Cloud Storage can be purchased by switching to a higher storage quota. Each end user licensee may utilize no more than five (5) copies of these products at any given time.

Custom WinPE-based Media Builder

A script that allows creating a custom 32-bit or 64-bit WinPE-based Acronis bootable rescue media. With the tool you can create a bootable media which can be used on a 32-bit UEFI computer (usually a tablet) or in case an OEM manufacturer has set the SATA mode to RAID in the BIOS and it cannot be changed. The tool also supports automatic driver injection into both the 32-bit and 64-bit media during media creation process.

Prerequisites:

  • Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10, both 32-bit and 64-bit
  • Installed Acronis True Image 2019, 2018, 2017 or 2016
  • Optional: Installed Windows ADK (5.x, 6.x or 10.x) for additional components such as MSiScsi and Bitlocker support. Windows ADK is not required for building media from WinRE.

To use the tool:

  1. Download and unpack it. This version adds several enhancements to the resulting media such as Web browser, file explorer, a custom shell, PDF reader and more.
  2. Turn Acronis Active Protection off (navigate to Settings, then to Acronis Active Protection, and clear the Protect all Acronis True Image files from ransomware check box). After creating the media, you can turn it back on.
  3. Run the .exe file as administrator: right-click the file and select Run as administrator.
  4. In the opened dialog window, follow the on-screen instructions, typing the numbers of the options you want to select:
  5. Select 32-bit or 64-bit media creation
  6. Wim file is mounted and ISO image is created
  7. You can choose to burn bootable media to a CD/DVD or create a bootable USB flash drive
  8. After the media is created, the script takes 1-3 minutes to clean up temporary changes. You can close the window manually; otherwise, it closes automatically in 20 seconds:
How to put six Acronis products in a single WinPE Applies to:

Acronis True Image 2020 Forum Pro

  • Acronis True Image 2018/2019
  • Acronis Universal Restore
  • Acronis Backup 12.5
  • Acronis Snap Deploy 5
  • Acronis Disk Director 12
  • Acronis Revive 2019

In order to be able to add all six products to a single WinPE with version 18.2 of the MVP Tool , please perform the actions in the correct order:

Acronis True Image 2020 Forum Login

  1. First, install Acronis Backup 12.5. Make sure the Media Builder component is installed.
  2. Install Acronis Snap Deploy 5 second. Do not install the OS Deploy component. It won’t install when Acronis Backup 12.5 is installed.
  3. Install Acronis Revive 2019 third. (Acronis Revive 2019 could be installed at any time.)
  4. Simulate the True Image 2019 WinPE components on the computer. You will need another computer where Acronis True Image 2019 is installed.
    • Create a folder at C:Program Files (x86)AcronisTrueImageHomeWinPE on the computer being used to create the media. Put winpe_resources.dll in that folder. Get winpe_resources.dll from the same folder on another computer with Acronis True Image 2018 installed.
    • Export two registry keys from the computer with Acronis True Image 2018 installed. First, export HKLMSoftwareWOW6432NodeAcronisTrueImageHomeSettings. Name the file TI_location.reg. Second, export HKLMSoftwareWOW6432NodeAcronisTrueImage. Name the file TI_license.reg. Import both registry files to the registry on the computer being used to build the media.
  5. Simulate the True Image 2019 Universal Restore WinPE components on the computer. You will need another computer where Acronis True Image 2019 Universal Restore is installed.
    • Create a folder at C:Program Files (x86)AcronisUniversalRestoreWinPE. Put WinPE32.zip and WinPE64.zip in that folder. Get the files from the same folder on another computer with the Acronis True Image 2018 Universal Restore component installed.
    • Export the following registry key from the computer with the Universal Restore component installed: HKLMSoftwareWOW6432NodeAcronisUniversalRestoreSettings. Name the file UR_location.reg. Import the registry file to the registry on the computer being used to build the media. Universal Restore does not require a license key.
  6. Simulate the Disk Director 12 WinPE files on the computer. You will need another computer where Acronis Disk Director 12 is installed
    • Create a folder at C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesAcronisDiskDirectorWinPE. Put WinPE32.zip and WinPE64.zip in that folder. Get the files from the same folder on a computer with Acronis Disk Director 12 installed.
    • Export the following registry key from a computer with Acronis Disk Director 12 installed: HKLMSoftwareAcronisDiskDirector. Name the file DD_license_location.reg. Import the registry file to the registry on the computer being used to build the media.

Steps 4-6 above assume all three programs were installed to the default location. If they were not, adjust the folder locations to match where the programs were originally installed, otherwise the registry keys won’t match the file location.

Proceed with building the media using the general instructions above
